Allison’s quotes

"Don't you think it's rather nice to think that we're in a book that God's writing? If I were writing a book, I might make mistakes. But God knows how to make the story end just right--in the way that's best for us."
Do you really believe that, Mother?" Peter asked quietly.
Yes," she said, "I do believe it--almost always--except when I'm so sad that I can't believe anything. But even when I don't believe it, I know it's true--and I try to believe it."— E. Nesbit

Fun Times Ahead!

Hello, dear readers!  The astute and appreciatory among you may have noticed that I have not yet posted Firn and Furan, only Hespera.  I planned on doing so promptly, but alas! I realized I have thirteen more posts scheduled for February, and I was afraid of, you know, hurting myself.  So expect Firn and Furan first thing in March!

I'm excited to say that I will review and interview author Michelle N. Onuorah on the fourteenth and fifteenth, and on the twenty-second I will spotlight an undisclosed character from Jaye L Knight's new novel, The King's Scroll.

But, in addition to that, remember that a very important event is coming up, which I'm sure you have marked all over your Hobbit-themed calendars.  (Maybe that's just me....)  What?!  You haven't?  Well, be sure to mark them now, folks, because my Favorite Classic Book series starts later today, counting down (aside from reviews and interviews and character spotlights and whatnot) the days until my birthday, on the twenty-fourth.  So tune back in today for the first book!  I'll give you a hint... it's a twentieth century classic... and it features a hero I've talked about recently.

Tune back in later!
